Din Range of pumps complies with international standard DIN24255, which covers both performance curves and dimensions.
The volute casing has integrally cast feet, axial suction and vertical discharge and fitted with a replaceable wear ring. An inlet cast vane improves the flow to impeller eyes. The back casing covers on large sizes of pumps are also fitted with wear rings.
BEARING HOUSING ASSEMBLY
There are only five assemblies of the shaft and bearing housing for the whole range of pumps. This feature gives high interchangeability of parts across the entire range.
The standard pumps are fitted with mechanical seals. The casing back covers which are only for mechanical seals, have open chambers allowing more water to flush seals. The packed gland pumps will be supplied upon request.
The pump is of back-pull-out design. When a suitable spacer coupling is fitted to a direct coupled unit the casing and motor can remain in position while all other parts can be removed for simple and quick maintenance.
Mechanical seal pumps: maximum temperature depends on seals used.
Packed gland pumps: - 10oC to 105oC
Maximum operating pressure: 1600kpa on most models
Maximum test pressure: 2100kpa
The pressures vary depending on individual pump model. Please check DIN Pump Technical Data Sheet available online.
Maximum directly coupled speed for DinBare pumps varies between 3600rpm and 1800rpm. Depending on the pump sizes.
